SERIES HISTORY: This will be the 28th all-time meeting between Fordham and Army West Point in men's soccer. Army West Point has a slight edge in the all-time series at 13-11-3.  The last meeting between the two schools was 1-0 win in double overtime back in 2013.  Prior to that, Fordham had won the four previous meetings.

LAST TIME OUT: On a wet and rainy afternoon in Easton, Pennsylvania, the Fordham men's soccer team played to a scoreless draw with the Lafayette Leopards at Oaks Stadium.  Fordham controlled most of the first half's action, outshooting Lafayette, 5-1.  However, Leopards goalkeeper Brad Seeber made three saves including two straight on opportunities at the top of the box by Janos Loebe and Ole Sandnes.  The Rams thought they may have scored on an Andres Penfold header in the 24th minute, but the play was ruled offside, negating the goal.

The game then got extremely physical in the second half.  In the 51st minute, Andrew Hickey was issued a yellow card for a dangerous tackle on Eric West.  West then retaliated by kicking Hickey on the ground, receiving a straight red card, leaving Lafayette a man down.

Just five minutes later, Hickey was given his second yellow card of the game after arguing a call and was sent off, to even up the sides at 10 men each.
Not much developed over the rest of the second half, moving the game into overtime.

Neither team mustered much in overtime leaving the teams with a scoreless draw.  However, Fordham goalkeeper Rashid Nuhu was given a red card with 1:13 left in the second overtime period and was replaced by Dan Miklos.

Before leaving the game, Nuhu finished with two saves, while Seeber had six for Lafayette.

WHO'S NEXT: The Rams will next be in action on Saturday, September 19th, as Fordham plays at Fairfield, beginning at 7:00 PM.
