In set three, Fordham came alive late to try and get back in the match.  With the Huskies on match point at 24-21, the Rams reeled off three straight points to knot the score at 24.  However, after exchanging points, Northeastern's Brigitte Burcescu drove down back-to-back kills to give the Huskies the win.

Following the conclusion of the tournament, Northeastern's Natalia Skiba was named the tournament's MVP.  The all-tournament team was comprised of Northeastern's Jamie Bredahl and Brigitte Burcescu, Rider's Jaclyn Webber and Emma Aldaya, FDU's Allison Butler, and Fordham's Brianna O'Neil.

The Fordham volleyball team will next be in action on Tuesday, September 9th, when the Rams travel to Stony Brook for a 7:00 PM match.
