The Fordham water polo team look for a sweep of their two road matches this weekend in Cambridge, Massachusetts, after a win over MIT on Saturday. On Sunday morning, the Rams found a stiffer test, falling to the 16th-ranked Harvard Crimson by a score of 10-8.
With the loss, Fordham moves to 8-5 overall, 2-3 in the CWPA Northern Division.
After an even first quarter, the Crimson were able to build a 7-4 lead by halftime. The Rams were able to cut the deficit to two, 8-6 by the end of three quarters, but could not get any closer to Harvard before the final horn.

Ori Raz led the offense with three goals, while
Ethan Vandeventer had two markers.
Davis DeFontes,
R.J. Simmons, and
Landon Kern rounded out the Rams' scoring. In net,
Noah LeBeau made 14 saves.
The Fordham water polo team will next be in action on Thursday, October 2nd, as the Rams begin their annual west coast swing. Fordham will play at Cal-Baptist at 3:30 PM Eastern and Mt. San Antonio at 9:00 PM Eastern, before competition starts at the Gary Troyer Invitational on Friday.
