(December 10, 2014) - The Fordham University men's basketball squad will continue its 2014-2015 season, the 112th season of basketball at Rose Hill, on Wednesday night, December 10, as the Rams host the Monmouth University Hawks in the historic Rose Hill Gym at 7:00 p.m.
Free pizza will be served to all Fordham students in attendance at halftime. The pizza will be served on the Lombardi Center Bridge, by the student entrance to the Rose Hill Gym. The game will be broadcast live on SportsNet NY (SNY) with Ed Cohen (play-by-play), John Griffin (color) and Alexa Datt (sideline) announcing and online on the Atlantic 10 Digital Network. Fordham enters the game with a 2-4 record following a 69-67 win over Siena in the Rose Hill Gym on December 1. Monmouth enters the game with a 4-4 record after a 92-89 MAAC win over Iona in West Long Branch, N.J., on Sunday.
Wednesday night's contest will be the sixth meeting between Fordham and Monmouth on the hardwood with Fordham leading the all-time series, which started in 1985, 3-2. The Hawks won last year's matchup, 87-78, on December 21 in West Long Branch despite a game-high 32 points from
Jon Severe (Andrew Nicholas scored 30 for the Hawks).
