Follow on Twitter College Park, Md. (November 20, 2014) - The Fordham University men's basketball squad continues its 2014-2015 season by traveling to College Park, Md., to face the University of Maryland Terrapins in the Xfinity Center on Thursday night at 7:30 p.m.
The game will be broadcast live on the Big 10 Network Plus and will be broadcast on WFUV (90.7 FM) and www.wfuvsports.org and can be followed live via livestats. Follow the links above.
Fordham enters the game with a 1-1 record after falling at Penn State on Sunday night. Maryland enters the contest with a 2-0 record and is coming off a home win over Central Connecticut State on Monday night.
The Rams will be led into the game by the Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week,
Eric Paschall, who averaged 19.5 ppg in his first two collegiate contests, including 31 points (and ten rebounds) in the season opening win over NYIT. The 31 points is a school record for most points scored by a freshman in his debut.
Thursday night's game will be the tenth meeting between Fordham and Maryland on the hardwood with the Terrapins leading the all-time series, which started in 1956, 8-1. The Rams won the first meeting 68-62, but Maryland won the next eight, including a 79-59 victory the last meeting in 2006.
