Fordham goalkeeper
Sean Brailey made five saves, while VCU keeper Garrett Cyprus made one, as the Fordham Rams and the VCU Rams played to a 0-0 tie at Sports Backer Stadium in Richmond, Virginia.
With the tie, Fordham is 5-6-2 overall, 2-1-1 in the Atlantic 10, while VCU moved to 4-7-3 on the year, 1-0-2 in the league.
There were a total of 35 shots in the double overtime match, but only six found their way on frame for the goalkeepers to handle.
VCU had the edge in corner kicks, 12-7, but none of those 19 resulted in a goal.
VCU's Brandon Eaton led all players with five shots, while Fordham's
Ollie Kelly had four.
The Fordham men's soccer team will remain in Virginia for its second match of the weekend on Sunday, October 19
th, when the Rams meet George Mason at 1:00 PM.
