Box Score

Final Stats

After falling to West Virginia in the first game of the day, the Rams completely turned the tables in game number two.  Fordham dominated Norfolk State in straight sets on Saturday afternoon, 25-6, 25-15 and 25-19.

With the win, the Rams finish the Golden Horseshoe Challenge at 3-1 and move to 4-3 overall.

Brianna O'Neil led the squad with 11 kills, while Sara Konkel tallied 30 assists.

The first set proved to be a completely one-sided affair.  Chandler Moore tallied the Rams first point before Norfolk State tied it up.  The Rams then only allowed the Spartans to score five more points, taking the first set by a whopping 25-6 margin.

The Spartans put up a more valiant effort in set number two, but it was still all Rams.  With the score tied at nine, the Rams outscored Norfolk State 15-6 over the remainder of the second, taking the set 25-15.

Norfolk State put up their best effort in the final set, but three kills from O'Neil helped the Rams seal the deal, 25-19.

The Rams' next game will be their home-opener, a 7 PM affair against the Hofstra Pride.
