Albany, N.Y. (December 30, 2013) - The Fordham University men's basketball squad continues the 2013-14 season as they close out their nonconference slate by traveling to Albany, N.Y., to face the Siena College Saints in the Times Union Center on Monday night, December 30, at 7:00 p.m.
The game will be televised live on Time Warner Cable's Sports Channel (channel 197 in New York City), streamed on the Siena athletic website, broadcast live on WFUV and can be followed live via livestats. Follow the links above.
Fordham enters the game with a 7-5 record after a 94-86 loss to Harvard University on Saturday in the Rose Hill Gym. Siena enters the game with a 4-8 record after defeating Hofstra University, 67-59, in the Times Union Center last Monday.
The Rams will be led into the game by the top scoring backcourt in the Atlantic 10, senior guard
Branden Frazier, a preseason Third Team All-Atlantic 10 pick, and freshman guard
Jon Severe, a product of Christ the King High School. Severe, a three-time Atlantic 10 rookie of the week, is averaging an Atlantic 10-best 20.8 ppg while Frazier is right behind him, averaging 18.9 ppg, second in the conference.
Over his three-year career, Frazier has netted 1,304 points, good for 14
th on the Fordham all-time scoring list.
Monday night's contest will be the 22
nd meeting between Fordham and Siena on the hardwood. The Rams lead the all-time series, which started in 1949, 12-9. Fordham has taken the past two meetings, including an 81-75 win last year on December 23 in the Rose Hill Gym as

Branden Frazier added 20 and ten assists, and three of the past four.
