West Long Branch, N.J. (December 20, 2013) - The Fordham University men's basketball squad continues the 2013-14 season as they travel to West Long Branch, N.J., to face the Monmouth University Hawks in the Multipurpose Activity Center on Saturday afternoon, December 21, at 2:00 p.m.

Fordham enters the game with a 6-3 record after a 79-60 win over Howard University last Saturday. Monmouth enters the game with a 5-6 record after defeating Binghamton University, 74-46, at home last Saturday.
The Rams will be led into the game by the top scoring backcourt in the Atlantic 10, senior guard
Branden Frazier, a preseason Third Team All-Atlantic 10 pick, and freshman guard
Jon Severe, a product of Christ the King High School. Frazier is averaging an Atlantic 10-best 18.7 ppg while Severe is right behind him, averaging 18.1 ppg, second in the conference.
Over his three-year career, Frazier has netted 1,245 points, good for 15
th on the Fordham all-time scoring list.
Saturday afternoon's contest will be the fifth meeting between Fordham and Monmouth on the hardwood. The Rams lead the all-time series, 3-1, and took the last meeting, 82-71, last year on December 31 in the Rose Hill Gym as
Chris Gaston scored 19 points and added ten rebounds while
Bryan Smith netted 18 points.
