Bronx, N.Y. (November 22, 2013) - The Fordham University men's basketball squad continues its 2013-14 season by hosting the Sacred Heart University Pioneers in the historic Rose Hill Gym on Saturday afternoon at 4:00 PM.
The game will be streamed live on the
A-10 Digital Network (fee required) and will be broadcast live on WFUV (90.7 FM) and on the internet at
wfuv.org.
Prior to the game, the Fordham-Colgate football game will be streamed in the Campbell Hall Multipurpose Room beginning at
1:00 p.m. at Halftime, fans will be escorted over to the Rose Hill Gym where they can continue to watch the football game on the new video boards prior to basketball warm ups.
Fordham enters the game with a 2-1 record after an 80-72 win over Lehigh University in the Rose Hill Gym on November 15 and will be looking to go to 3-1 for the first time since 2000. Sacred Heart enters the game with an 0-4 record after falling to Yale, 80-65, in New Haven on Tuesday night.
The Rams will be led into the game by senior guard
Branden Frazier, a preseason Third Team All-Atlantic 10 pick, and freshman guard
Jon Severe, a product of Christ the King High School. Frazier is averaging a league-best 22.3 ppg over the first three contests, including his third career double-double with 24 points and 11 rebound in the win over Lehigh, while Severe is second in the Atlantic 10 in scoring, averaging 21.0 ppg.
Over his three-year career, Frazier has netted 1,144 points, good for 22
nd on the Fordham all-time scoring list.
Saturday afternoon's contest will be the fourth meeting between Fordham and Sacred Heart on the hardwood. The Rams have taken the previous three meetings, all in the Rose Hill Gym.
