Water Polo Falls at Brown, 18-7

Cambridge, Mass. - The Fordham University water polo Rams traveled up to Harvard on Saturday to face Brown University in Blodgett Pool, falling to the Bears, 18-7.

The Rams trailed 5-1 after one quarter and couldn't get the ball behind the Brown goalie in the second quarter, entering the half down 10-1.

The Fordham offense managed to net three goals in the third but the Rams allowed five as they trailed 15-4 after three periods before each squad scored three times in the final quarter for the 18-7 finals.

Robert Fleming and Nicholas Allen led the Fordham offense with two goals each with Fleming also adding an assist. J.D. Shrewsbury, Dan Kearney and Ben Clinkinbeard also tallied goals for the Rams while Daniel Barron had a pair of assists.

In goal, Noah LeBeau made three saves while Christian Flessner had two.

The Rams, who are now 6-16 on the year, will return to action on Saturday, October 22nd, as they travel to Princeton, N.J. to face Princeton University at 12:15 p.m. and George Washington at 3:00 p.m.
