Bronx, N.Y. -
The Fordham University men's soccer team wrapped up its spring season in fine fashion, shutting out Fairfield, 1-0, on Murphy Field.
Michael Caputo was responsible for the lone tally of the night, collecting the ball about 15 yards out from net and burying a shot past the Stags keeper with less than ten minutes remaining in the game.
Fordham keeper Jon Bratincevic made the one goal hold up, recording a few solid saves, including one from point blank just moments before the Rams scored.
With the win, the Rams close out the spring season with a 3-2 record.
