Squash Falls To Columbia, 8-1

New York, N.Y. - After the winter weather postponed their match against Bard on Wednesday, the Fordham squash team was back in action Thursday, taking on local rival Columbia. The Rams however could only take one match, falling by an 8-1 count.

The Rams are now 1-11 on the season.

Fordham's lone win came at the seventh slot, as Andrew Grosner defeated Alex Park in four sets, 11-7, 3-11, 11-9, and 11-7.

Two other matches went four sets as Fordham's Andriy Kulak was defeated by Yoon Lee, 7-11, 11-3, 11-4, 11-7, while Eli Plannger fell to J.S. Kim, 7-11, 11-6, 11-9, and 11-5.

The Fordham squash team will next be in action on February 19-20, as they compete at the Nine-Man Intercollegiate Championship.
