The Fordham squash team picked up its second win of the season with a 5-4 road win at Vassar College in Poughkeepsie, New York, on Wednesday night.
With the win, Fordham improves to 2-4 on the season, while Vassar falls to 1-3.
The match was knotted at four all with Fordham receiving wins from Andriy Kulak (2nd), Andrew Grosner (6th), Raymond Chen (7th), and Chris Souther (8th) in the early matches.
The deciding match came down to Fordham's Eli Plangger against Vassar's Arjun Jain. After splitting the opening two games, Plangger came through with 13-11 and 13-11 wins in game three and four to win his match and give Fordham its second victory of the season.
