Bronx, N.Y. - Charlotte's Whitney Weinraub and Kirby Stenard each scored twice as the 49ers topped the Fordham Rams in an Atlantic 10 women's soccer match, 4-0 at Jack Coffey Field on Sunday.

With the loss, Fordham falls to 2-8-1 overall, 1-1 in the Atlantic 10, while Charlotte improves to 8-2 overall, 2-0 in league play.

The 49ers got on the board quickly, scoring in the ninth minute as Whitney Weinraub found Kirby Stenard on the left side, who beat Fordham keeper Jen Byer to the right side of the net from 12 yards for her fourth of the season.

Weinraub then made it 2-0 in the 17th minute, as she beat a Fordham defender near the Fordham goal and scored to the lower left corner, her seventh tally of the year.

The score stayed that way until the 64th minute where Weinraub netted her second goal of the game on a cross from Jonna Handra.

The 49ers then closed out the scoring with Stenard's second goal of the game with Jenna McKeon and Sam Huecker picking up the assists.

For Fordham, Katie McDermott had a pair of shots, as the Rams were out shot 9-7 in the game, while Byer and Sarah Zieman split time in net.
