Bronx, N.Y. - The Fordham baseball team put on a show on Baseball Alumni Day at Houlihan Park as the Rams slugged 13 runs on 15 hits while all Fordham starters had at least one hit on the day in the 13-2 win over Richmond.

Fordham is now 18-29 (12-11 Atlantic 10) while Richmond falls to 20-22 (9-14 Atlantic 10).

Danny Leach started off things off for the Rams, in the bottom of the third, with a little small ball on a bunt single and two straight stolen bases to put him on third. A grounder to second was all the Rams needed to bring Leach home and take a 1-0 lead.

Richmond battled back in the fourth, scoring two runs on only one hit. Fordham starter John Flanagan had a trouble locating the strike zone after issuing four walks and two wild pitches in the inning.

But in the bottom of the fourth, the Rams gave Flanagan all the run support he needed with six runs in the inning. Alex Kenny plated the first two runs in the inning on a bases-loaded single while Nick Martinez scored on a fielder's choice. Leach found himself in scoring position on his third stolen base in the game and came around to score on Brian Kownacki's single to right.

Bobby DiNardo kept things rolling with his 12th double of year, bringing home Kownacki while Chris Walker plated the final Rams' run in the inning with a single that scored DiNardo.

Fordham tacked on four more runs in the fifth to bring the Rams' lead to 11-2. Mike Mobbs led the inning off with a bunt single to third base while John Kahn tripled in the right-center gap to score in Mobbs. Kahn would make his way across home plate via another triple, this time off the bat of pinch-hitting Stephen McSherry. Leach would single in McSherry with his second base knock of the game and came around to score on a stolen base, throwing error and a balk.

The Rams added two final runs in the sixth on McCrann's fourth home run of the year and a Martinez RBI double, bringing the score to 13-2.

Flanagan tossed five innings of work for the Rams, giving up the only two Spiders' runs on four hits, six walks while striking out four in his sixth win of the year. Richmond's Matt Zielinski takes the loss after giving up seven runs in 3.2 innings on the hill. Daniel Munday followed up his first collegiate win with his second save of the year in four relief innings while the freshman only gave up one hit and one walk and struck out six.

Leach led the way for the Fordham bats as one of five Rams' to have a multi-hit game, going 2-5 with three runs, two RBI and four stolen bases.

Fordham and Richmond will complete the three-game series on Sunday, May 10, at 1:00 PM. Be sure to come out to Houlihan Park early as there will be a special pre-game presentation to the Fordham baseball senior class.
