Squash Falls To Haverford

Dec. 5, 2009

Haverford, Pa. - The Fordham squash team is still in search of their first win, after falling to Haverford by an 8-1 score on Saturday.

The Rams lone win came at the #7 slot, as Nick Reed held off Andrew Wee in five sets. Reed won the opening two frames, but Wee won the next two to force a deciding set, which Reed won, 15-13.

All other matches were 3-0 sweeps in favor of Haverford except the #4 slot match, where Matthew Liscovitz defeated Fordham's James Lechleitner in four sets.

The Fordham squash team is now off for winter break, and returns to the court on January 22nd, when they play matches against Bryant University and Connecticut College.
