Fordham's Mike Hennessy swept his match at the first slot over Andrew Staby, while Peter Jang defeated Evan Bellantone at the second slot, as the Fordham Rams earned their first victory of the season with a 9-0 win over Bard College at the Lombardi Center Squash courts.
With the win, Fordham improves to 1-5 on the season.
Mike Hennessy started the match with a three-set sweep over Staby, 9-2, 9-0, and 9-1, while Peter Jang ousted Evan Bellantone, 9-4, 9-3, and 9-1 at the second slot.
Jason Sherriff had an impressive win over Ed Hall in three sets, 9-3, 9-0, and 9-1, while Teddy Cronin, Tyler McCoy, Colin Corbett, and Andriy Kulak also had straight set victories.
Brandon Abbatiello and Ken Fukumoto rounded out the 9-0 win with four-set wins at the fourth and ninth slots.
The Fordham squash team will next be in action on Wednesday, December 3rd, as they play at Vassar College, beginning at 5:00 PM.
