Behind four goals apiece from Todd Conway and Brian Jucas, the Fordham water polo team picked up their second straight conference victory on Thursday night, topping Connecticut College, 24-8, in New London, Conn.
With the win, Fordham improves to 10-8 overall this season, 2-3 in the CWPA's Northern Division.
The 24 goals scored by Fordham was a season-high, surpassing the 14 scored against Harvard on October 12th.
Todd Conway led the Rams' attack with four goals and three steals, while Brian Jucas had four goals and a steal. Tim Simo netted three tallies to go with two steals, with Ryan Hultman also adding three goals. Other goal scorers on the night were Luke Forand (2), Andrew McKernin (2), Alex Powell, Daniel Muñoz, Martin de Jong, Ian Pruitt, Scott Nemecek, and Mark Connor.
In net, Timmy Will and Christian Flessner each played a half. Will finished with seven saves, including a penalty block, while Flessner had three saves and one steal.
The Fordham water polo team will next be in action on Wednesday, October 22nd, when the Rams play at St. Francis College, beginning at 7:30 PM.
