Sept. 10, 2007

Princeton, N.J. - The Fordham University water polo squad closed out play at the 2007 Princeton Invitational with a rematch with George Washington University, a team the Rams defeated a little over a week ago at the Navy Invitational. Unfortunately, the results were different this time as the Colonial upended the Rams 10-4. With the loss, Fordham falls to 2-6.

The Colonials jumped out to a 3-1 lead in the first quarter and then took a 6-3 lead at the half. Three more tallies in the third quarter gave George Washington a 9-4 lead and the Colonials went on to the 10-4 win.

Todd Conway led the Rams with two goals and two assists while Andrew Dentinger added a goal and an assist and Taylor Landesman netted a goal.

The Rams will next be in action on September 19th as they travel out to California to face San Jose State in an exhibition game at 10:00 pm EST.
