Water Polo Drops Pair To Nationally Ranked Teams at Princeton Invitational

Princeton, N.J. - The Fordham water polo team continued play at the Princeton Invitational today, playing against two more nationally ranked opponents. The Rams fell to #15 Bucknell University, 14-6, and #10 Navy, 11-4.

Against Bucknell, Fordham, Ryan Hultman notched a pair of goals, while Alex Powell, Daniel Muñoz, Andrew Dentinger, and Tom Conroy had the other tallies. Muñoz also added a pair of assists. In net, Timmy Will made eight saves to go with three steals.

Against Navy, the Rams held tough, down 7-4, heading into the fourth quarter, but Navy posted four goals in the final frame to win, 11-4.

For Fordham, Hultman recorded three goals and two steals, while Todd Conway had the final goal and two steals. Will posted eights saves and four steals in net.

The Fordham water polo team wraps up play at the Princeton Invitational with one game on Sunday against George Washington at 10:50 AM.
