Water Polo Finishes In Sixth Place At Northern Division Playoffs

Cambridge, Mass. - A season that of number of firsts for the Fordham water polo ended on a sour note at the Northern Division Playoffs on Sunday. Despite a valiant effort, Fordham lost the fifth place match to MIT by a final score of 8-7 in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

With the loss, Fordham ends the season with an 11-15 record for 2007.

In the match, Fordham's Scott Nemecek and Ryan Hultman led the scoring with two goals each, while Alex Powell, Taylor Landesman, and Brian Jucas netted the other three tallies.

In net, Timmy Will finished with eight saves.
