Bronx, N.Y. - Fordham women's soccer coach
Jessica Clinton announced the addition of
Emma Johnson (Upton, England/Birkenhead Sixth Form) to this year's recruiting class for the upcoming 2017 season.
Johnson joins earlier additions
Hope Baisley (Wilmette, IL/New Trier),
Crea Baker-Durante (Needham, Mass./Needham),
Saige Bingham (Cheshire, Conn./Cheshire),
Milan Bornstein (Cranston, R.I./La Salle Academy),
Maura Holst (Bryn Mawr, Pa./Radnor), and
Charlotte Rossi (Westport, Conn./Staples) as this year's recruiting class.
Emma Johnson
Johnson attended Birkenhead Sixth Form for two years, after spending five years at Woodchurch High School in Birkenhead, England. She was a multi-sport athlete, competing in soccer, volleyball, handball, and basketball. She was the recipient of the Mark McNee Award, which is given to the most prestigious athlete based on success and contribution in a sport at Woodchurch. She currently plays club soccer for Everton Football Club, coached by Andy Spence, and served as team captain for Everton's U17 team.
Johnson and the rest of Fordham's incoming class will make their collegiate debut on August 18
th, when Fordham opens the 2017 season at Nevada.
