Hamilton, N.Y. – The Fordham University football team has been wrecked by injuries all season and today was no exception. Playing without the services of graduate student quarterback
Kevin Anderson the Rams' offense couldn't get on track as Fordham dropped a 38-12 Patriot League decision to Colgate University in Andy Kerr Stadium.

With the loss, the Rams fall to 1-6 on the season, 0-2 in the Patriot League, while Colgate improves to 3-4 overall, 1-1 in the conference.

Chase Edmonds gained 53 yards on 18 carries, leaving him seven yards short of the Patriot League career rushing record.

Luke Medlock, who started in Anderson's place, completed 16 of 32 passes for 215 yards and one score, all career-highs.

The Rams fell behind 14-0 in the first quarter as the Raiders took advantage of a short field on the second score and turned a Medlock interception in to a field goal at the halftime buzzer to take a 17-0 lead into the break.

Fordham attempted a fake field goal in the third that Colgate sniffed out and took over on the Rams' 45. Six plays later the Raiders took a 24-0 lead.
