The Atlantic 10 Conference announced its final set of weekly awards for women's soccer on Monday with Fordham freshman midfielder/forward
Clare Paoletta (Falls Church, Va.) earning Rookie of the Week honors.
It is the first career weekly award for Paoletta, and the second weekly honor for a Ram this season, as
Kate McDonnell was named Player of the Week, earlier in the year.
In her lone match of the weekend, Paoletta scored her first two career goals in a 2-1 win at St. Bonaventure on Friday night. Both came in the final 25 minutes of regulation to give the Rams their eighth win of the season. For her efforts, she also garnered ECAC Co-Rookie of the Week honor, in addition to the Atlantic 10 award.
Fordham ended the year just under the .500 mark at 8-9-1.
