Orlando, Fla. – The Fordham golf team sits in eighth place after two rounds of play at the 2018 Atlantic 10 Championships at the Grand Cypress Golf Club.
Davidson leads all schools in the team competition with a two day score of 594, followed by Dayton (602), Rhode Island (605), VCU (612), Richmond (613), George Mason (615), Saint Joseph's (618), Fordham (619), George Washington (625), St. Bonaventure (636) and La Salle (653).
Leading the way for Fordham is senior
James Mongey who followed his opening round 76 with a 73 in round two for a two-day total of 149, tying him for sixth place through 36 holes.
Right behind Mongey is senior
Joseph Trim who carded a 77 today for a two day total of 151, tying him for 11
th place, while
Matt Schiller shot another 79 for a two day total of 158, good for 34
th,
Tomas Nieves also shot 79 in round two for a two day total of 161, tying him for 42
nd place and
Josh Madarang shot an 83 today to put him 50
th place with a two day total of 167.
The championship concludes with 18 holes on Sunday.
