Bronx, N.Y. – Though it didn't quite feel like spring on a damp and chilly Jack Coffey Field, the Fordham University football squad closed out its spring practice schedule with the Maroon and White game on Friday night.

Under a special scoring system, the offense, wearing white, edged the defense, clad in Maroon, 92-77, though both sides of the ball showed flashes of good things to come.
