Harrison, N.Y. – The Fordham men's tennis team blanked St. Francis Brooklyn 7-0 at Life Time Athletic on Sunday evening.
The Rams started the match taking the doubles point as
Finn Kemper and
Jeremy Chung defeated Guillermo Artiz and Daniel Blasco 6-4 at second singles and
Allen Thornes and
Max Green blanked Tim Cecere and Josh Halperin 6-0 at the third doubles position.
Fordham went on to sweep the singles points as
Lutwin de Macar defeated Javier Navarro in a three-set match 4-6, 6-4, 10-5 at first singles, Green bested Artiz 6-2, 6-0 at second singles,
Fabian Hansch Mauritzson defeated Pablo Blasco-Torres 6-1, 6-2 at third singles, Kemper defeated Stefan Gmijovic 6-1, 6-3 at the fourth doubles position,
Alex Makatsaria defeated Daniel Blasco 6-1, 6-3 at fifth singles and Chung cruised past Michael Sparacino 6-1, 6-0 at the sixth singles position.
The Rams return to action Sunday April 22 as they host Baruch College on Senior Day.
