Malvern, Pa. – The Fordham men's golf team concluded play Tuesday at the Wildcat Invitational, held at White Manor Country Club, where the Rams finished ninth in the team standings.
Senior
Joseph Trim led the way for the Rams firing a second-round 73 for a two round total of 147, tying him for 23
rd place.
Matt Schiller who followed an opening round 70 with a 78 in round two for a two round total of 148, good for a tie for 29
th place. Also in action for the Rams were
James Mongey who shot a pair of 75's for a total of 150, finishing in a tie for 43
rd place with teammate
Tomas Nieves whose 76 in round two also game him a two-round score of 150 and
Josh Madarang closed with a 78 to finish with a total of 158, good for a tie for 58
th place.
Freshman
Mithran Denbow competed as an individual, firing rounds of 76-83 for a total of 159, tying him for 91
st place.
Drexel won the team championship with a total score of 573, followed by Rhode Island (578), St. John's (584), Iona (585), Saint Peter's (585), Delaware (586), Lehigh (589), Binghamton (593), Fordham (594), Siena (595), Rider (596), Wagner (596), Bucknell (598), Monmouth (599), Villanova (600), Le Moyne (602), Lafayette (607), La Salle (613) and Colgate (615).
The Rams return to action Saturday April 14 Yale Spring Invitational, held at The Course at Yale.
