Boston, Mass. – It was a solid final day at the 2018 ECAC/IC4A Indoor Track and Field Championship on Sunday at the BU Track & Tennis Center in Boston, as Fordham scored in three event finals.
Overall, Fordham finished tied for 11
th in the men's competition with 22 points, while the women tied for 30
th with six points.
The day began with the men's 1,000 meter run where
Louis Santelli finished fourth in a time of 2:28.02.
The next event final for Fordham was the men's 3,000 meter run, where
Thomas Slattery finished eighth in 8:14.69,
Ryan Kutch placed 21
st in 8:23.25 and
Brian Cook took 22
nd in 8:25.25.
The final scoring event for the Rams was the women's 4x800 relay of
Kate McCormack,
Aidan Moroz,
Merissa Wright and
Leah Hickey that took third in a time of 8:58.04.
The men's 4x400 relay also competed in Sunday's final, finishing tenth in 3:18.11.
The Rams now have a couple weeks off before opening the outdoor season on March 24 as they travel to the Stony Brook Quad Meet in Stony Brook, N.Y.
