Atlanta, Ga. – Fordham women's basketball senior standout forward
G'mrice Davis was announced as one of 52 All-Region finalists for the Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) NCAA Division I Coaches' All-America on Thursday afternoon.

Davis is the Atlantic 10's lone representative and only member of the 10-player Region 1 that isn't a member of an Atlantic Coast Conference institution.

Davis finished her senior campaign second in the country with 10.2 defensive rebounds per contest, third with 13.4 rebounds per game and 27 double-doubles, and fourth with 429 total boards. She is also tied for most career double-doubles, with 57, among all active players and is second with 1,199 career rebounds. At Fordham, the 13.4 rebounds per contest ranks third-most in a single campaign, while her 429 rebounds rank fifth and her 208 field goals rank eighth.

This season, Davis recorded at least eight rebounds in all 32 contests that she appeared in and scored in double figures in all but one game. Davis also tallied at least 11 points, 10 rebounds, and one block or steal in all but six contests.

The Philadelphia native wrapped up her four-year collegiate career by becoming just the second player in school history to record over 1,000 career points and rebounds, finishing with 1,497 career points and 1,199 rebounds, ranked fourth and second, respectively. Davis also finishes her career fourth with 589 field goals and fourth with 319 free throws, while her 9.6 rebounding average sits second-highest and 12.0 career scoring average ranks 11
th. She is also the seventh Ram to ever appear in at least 125 contests.

The 2018 WBCA NCAA Division I Coaches' 10-player All-America team will be announced on Thursday, March 29, during the WBCA Convention in Columbus, Ohio.
