Riverdale, N.Y. - Following a number of strong performances at the Atlantic 10 Championship, members of the Fordham track and field teams had one more opportunity to qualify for the ECAC/IC4A Championship as they competed at the Brother Jasper Invitational at Manhattan College Friday evening.
Merissa Wright Qualifies For ECAC's in
500 meter run
The highlight of the night came in the men's pole vault where
Ryan Riviere set the school indoor record, clearing 4.70m (15' 5"), besting the mark of 15' 3" previously set by Keegan Talty in 2012.
Merissa Wright was the lone qualifier for the Rams on the night as she won the 500 meter dash in an ECAC qualifying time of 1:15.93.
While other Rams competing didn't qualify, several Fordham athletes set personal bests including,

The ECAC/IC4A Indoor Track Championships take place March 2-4 at the BU Track & Tennis Center in Boston, Mass.
