Kingston, R.I. - The 2018 Atlantic 10 Championship has come to a close at Rhode Island's Mackal Fieldhouse with Fordham finishing in 11
th place.
VCU won the team competition with 122.5 points, followed by George Mason (102.5), Dayton (94), Richmond (84), Duquesne (77), UMass (71.5), Davidson (69.5), Rhode Island (68), Saint Joseph's (45), La Salle (26), Fordham (16), Saint Louis (3), George Washington (3).
Fordham scored in three events, beginning in the 500 meter dash, where
Aidan Moroz placed fifth overall in 1:16.23. The next scoring event for the Rams was the final of the 1,000 meter run, as
Kate McCormack finished eighth in 3:06.23, while in the 200 meter dash,
Mary Kate Kenny took sixth in 25.14 seconds.
Other individual performers included
Brynna Harum (15
th – 5:10.28) and
Laurel Fisher (16
th – 5:11.51) in the mile,
Katarzyna Krzyzanowski (9
th – 10:06.29),
Angelina Grebe (11
th - 10:11.44) and
Abigail Taylor (26
th – 10:25.79) in the 3,000 meter run, and
Neve Devine (T9 – 1.60m) in the high jump.
The last scoring event for the Fordham was the 4x800 relay where the Rams finished second in 9:10.31.
