Olean, N.Y. – The Fordham men's tennis team dropped a close match at St. Bonaventure 4-3 on Saturday afternoon.
After dropping the doubles point the Rams rallied in singles matches as
Max Green defeated Martinez 7-6, 7-6 in second singles,
Finn Kemper bested Malmberg 6-4, 6-1 in fifth singles and
Alex Makatsaria battled to a three-set 4-6, 6-3, 10-7 in sixth singles but they came up just short as the Black Knight got the three singles wins they needed to secure the victory.
The Rams return to action Sunday February 18 as they travel to Williamsville, N.Y. to take on Niagara.
