Ma Earns Weekly A-10 Award

Newport News, Va. - The Atlantic 10 Conference announced its weekly tennis awards on Wednesday, with Fordham's Carina Ma named Women's Performer of the Week.

It is the first weekly honor for Ma this season.
 
Ma defeated Seton Hall's Anicka Fajnorova 7-5, 1-6, 6-3 in a hard fought match at first singles on Saturday. The junior also teamed with senior Estelle Wong to defeat the Pirates 6-2 at the first doubles position.
 
Ma and the Rams return to action Saturday February 3 when they travel to New Haven, Connecticut to take on Quinnipiac.
