Michelle Martin (Monterey Park, Calif.) was named Women's Rookie of the Week for the second time this season.
Martin led the Rams to wins over Iona and UMass this week. She began the week by winning the 200-yard backstroke event against Iona in a season-best time of 2:10.00. She the won both the 100-yard backstroke (58.64) and the 100-yard butterfly (57.23) events at UMass, while taking second in the 50-yard freestyle (24.16) event.
Martin and the rest of the Fordham swimming & diving teams will next be in action at the 2018 Atlantic 10 Championship, which will be held February 14-18 at the Spire Institute in Geneva, Ohio.
