Boston, Mass. – After watching their female counterparts compete on Friday, the Fordham men's indoor track and field team competed today in the Terrier Classic where seven individuals posted IC4A qualifying times and ten set season-highs.
Leading the way were
Anthony Misko, who placed fifth in the 500 meter dash in an IC4A qualifying and season-best time of 1:04.47,
Sean Phillips, who placed fifth in the 1,000 meter run in an IC4A qualifying and career-best time of 2:27.43,
Thomas Slattery, who finished 32
nd in the 3,000 meter run in an IC4A qualifying and career-best time of 8:22.95,
Louis Santelli, who placed 15
th in the 800 meter run in an IC4A qualifying time of 1:51.22 and
Brian Cook, who finished 39
th in the mile in an IC4A qualifying time of 4:11.41.
The men's 4x400 'A' relay team posted an IC4A qualifying time of 3:18.01, good for a fourth place finish.
The Ram women also had a relay team compete on Saturday as the distance medley relay finished ninth in an ECAC qualifying and season-best time of 12:05.36.
