Bronx, N.Y. – After an extended break the Fordham track and field returned to action, as they hosted to the
Mike Massone Invitational at the Vincent T. Lombardi Center on Friday.
Fordham had 12 wins on the afternoon. Event winners on the men's side included
Ryan Riviere in the pole vault (4.55m),
Thomas Slattery in the 5,000-meter run (14:49.70,
Anthony Misko in the 400-meter dash (50.72),
Louis Santelli in the 800-meter run (1:54.16),
Sean Phillips in the 1,000-meter run (2:31.72) and
Brian Cook won the 3,000-meter run in an IC4A qualifying time of 8:27.65.
On the women's side, winners included
Neve Devine in the high jump (1.57m),
Sarinnagh Budris in the 400-meter dash (1.00.98),
Dana Beggins in the 500-meter dash (1:18.34) and
Mary Kate Kenny in the 200-meter dash (25.66).
Additionally, Fordham's 'A' 4x400 women's relay took first in 4:01.85 while the men's 'A' 4x400 relay also won in a time of 3:24.76.
Other top performers on the men's side included

th – 8:42.87) in the 3,000-meter run, and
Andrew Byrne (2
nd – 1.88m) in the high jump.
Also performing well on the women's side were

Abigail Taylor (3
rd – 18:30.41) in the 5,000-meter run,
Laura Jaeger (3
rd – 1:01.19) and
Jennifer Boerke (5
th – 1:02.01) in the 400-meter dash,
Leah Hickey (5
th – 1:21.26) in the 500-meter dash,
Kate McCormack (2
nd – 3:02.46) and
Blake Elwood (4
th – 3:05.91) in the 1,000-meter run,
Anais Karagianni (3
rd – 9.05) in the 60-meter hurdles,
Kathryn Kelly (2
nd – 25.83), (4
th – 7.98) and (4
th – 5.11m) in the 200-meter dash, 60-meter dash and long jump, respectively and
Adrianna Batista (3
rd – 11.68m) in the weight throw.
The Rams return to action Friday January 19 at the NYC Gotham Cup.
