Fordham Falls to Yale

Chase Edmonds’ return foiled by Bulldogs

Bronx, N.Y. – The good news for the Fordham football squad was on the Rams' first offensive play from scrimmage a familiar face was in the backfield as senior All-American running back Chase Edmonds returned to action after missing the past two games. The bad news for the Rams was that Edmonds' return was thwarted by Yale, who upended Fordham 41-10 on Jack Coffey Field.

With the loss, Fordham falls to 1-4 on the year while Yale stays unbeaten at 3-0.

Despite the presence of Edmonds, the Fordham offense couldn't get on track as the Rams were limited to 300 yards of total offense in the game with Edmonds gaining 83 yards on 16 carries while quarterback Kevin Anderson completed 13 of 28 passes for 140 passing yards, his lowest output of the year.
