Bethlehem, Pa. – The Fordham cross country teams continued their fall season today at the 44
th Annual Paul Short Run, hosted by Lehigh University at the Goodman Campus Cross Country Course where senior
Thomas Slattery set the school record in the 8K in a time of 24:08.
The Ram men finished 28
th in the 8K, while the women took 31
st in the 6K.
On the men's side, Slattery led the way for the Rams finishing 27
th, followed by
Ryan Kutch who finished 60
th in 24:30,
Fritz Heinrich (199
th – 25:28),
Nicholas Raefski (234th - 25:47),
Louis Santelli (238th - 25:50),
Matthew Roma (255th - 26:03) and
Giancarlo Cipri (263rd - 26:11).
Utah State won the men's team title with a total score of 119 followed by Georgetown (167), Adams State (179), Penn (187), Navy (193), Liberty (279), Army West Point (284), Connecticut (302), Wake Forest (318), Georgia Tech (348), Stony Brook (364), Cornell (368), Georgia (368), Villanova (403), Arizona (458), Tennessee (464), Haverford (474), Mount Olive (497), American (529), Lehigh (541), Albany (553), Boston (599), Rutgers (633), Manhattan (635), Amherst (664), La Salle (678), Christopher Newport (691), Fordham (758), East Carolina (781), Canisius (783), UMBC (810), Williams (844), Monmouth (887), American International (899), Johns Hopkins (906), Middlebury (915), Mississippi State (927), Saint Francis Pa. (967), Binghamton (1,143) and TCNJ (1,166).
On the women's side, Fordham was led by junior
Angelina Grebe who finished 124
th in a time of 21:31.
Sydney Snow crossed the line next for the Rams, finishing 148
th in 21:42, followed by
Abigail Taylor (157
th – 21:47),
Stephanie Leo (22:01),
Katarzyna Krzyzanowski (22:05),
Laurel Fisher (22:28) and
Kate McCormack (23.22).

The Rams will return to action Friday, October 13, at the Metropolitan Championships, held at Van Cortlandt Park.
