Bronx, N.Y. – The Fordham volleyball program and head coach
Gini Ullery-Shrift have announced a new date for the team's fall youth clinic, partnered with UCSNY (United Chaplains State of New York) Athletic League, now scheduled for Sunday, October 1, following the conclusion of the Rams' Atlantic 10 match-up with George Washington.
Participants are encouraged to come out and support the Rams as they take on the Colonials at 1 p.m. The clinic is free and open to any and all age groups. It will be held in the Lombardi Fieldhouse, a short distance from the Rose Hill Gym.
UCSNY ATHLETIC LEAGUE is an organization that works with teens of the community by mentoring them through sports and workshops. All coaches are either NYPD, EMS, FDNY and Chaplains. The goal with these programs is to connect with the community and improve community/law enforcement relationship and to empower, protect and encourage our youth. Through sports we teach the teens confidence, reliability and discipline.
