New York, N.Y. - The Fordham cross country teams ran in the NYIT Invitational on a hot and humid Saturday morning with the men taking second among Division 1 teams, while the women finished third.
Seton Hall won the men's competition with a score of 18 points, followed by Fordham who finished with a score of 41 points.
For Fordham,
Sean Sullivan was the top finisher for the Rams in the 8K race, finishing third in 24:53.38. Fordham had three other Rams finish in the top ten as
Sean Phillips took seventh in 25:25.22,
Patrick Donahue finished ninth in 25:39.58 and Patrick

Norako placed tenth in 25:40.17.

Blake Elwood who placed ninth overall in the 5K in 19:59.16.
Maeve O'Connor came across the line next in 14
th (20:25.97), followed by
Kieran Hanrahan in 17
th (21:00.26),
Elizabeth Morisseau in 19
th (21:13.17),
Kate Schulten in 20
th (21:14.07),
Erin Foley in 21
st (21:24.55),

The Fordham cross country teams will next be in action on Friday, September 29 at the Paul Short Invitational hosted by Lehigh University. Races begin at 10 a.m.
