Fordham Football Ranked 22nd in STATS Preseason NCAA FCS Poll

Bronx, N.Y. – The Fordham football Rams enter the 2017 season ranked 22nd in the STATS Preseason NCAA FCS poll it was announced today. The Rams are one of two Patriot League teams to be ranked, joining defending conference champions, Lehigh, who is ranked 17th.
 
Besides Lehigh, one other Fordham opponent this fall is listed in the STATS rankings as Eastern Washington, who comes to Jack Coffey Field on September 16, enters the season ranked fifth.
 
Fordham also appears in two other NCAA FCS preseason polls, being ranked 20th by Lindy's and 21st by Athlon.
 
The Rams open the 2017 season on Friday night, September 1, as the Rams travel to West Point, N.Y. to face the Army West Point Black Knights at 6:00 p.m.
