Cross Country to Host Fordham Fiasco/Ed Joyce Memorial Meet

Bronx, N.Y. – The Fordham men's and women's cross country teams will host the 37^th Annual Fordham Fiasco/Ed Joyce Memorial XC Meet at Van Cortlandt Park on Saturday, Sept. 9.
The women's 5k will kick things off at 9:30 a.m. before the men's five mile starts at 10:00 a.m.

Entries are due to Tom Dewey by September 1^st.

There is one change to this year's meet as a surcharge of $75 per team (men and women are separate teams) has been added in addition to the regular entry fee ($5 per athlete). For example, if Fordham has 10 men & 12 women a $150 check should be made to "Van Cortlandt Park Conservancy" and a separate $110 check should be made out to "Fordham Track & Field.

Per NCAA requirement, roster entry will be done on-line through the TFRRS website. Coaches are asked to please have their team/roster submitted on-line to Tony Toro's website at http://www.just-in-time-racing.com by September 1st at 6 PM.
 
Last year, the men's and women's squads placed second and third, respectively, in their races at the meet among Division I programs.

Brian Cook won the individual race with a time of 24:50.83, while Ryan Kutch and Thomas Slattery rounded out the top five finishing 4^th and 5^th with times of 25:08.15 and 25:12.01 respectively. 
 
Angelina Grebe women the women's individual title with a time of 19:09.86, while Christina Ulto (14^th) and seven others finished inside the top 30.
