Steve Potsklan announced the addition of 16 newcomers for the 2017-18 season.

Bollesen was a swimmer at the Shanghai American School in China, where he was a two-year captain and team MVP. He was also recipient of the Coaches Choice Award. Bollesen also swam club for Palo Alto Stanford Aquatics (PASA).
Dardis was a four-year varsity swimmer at Watchung Hills Regional High School in New Jersey, competing in the backstroke and freestyle events. He was a County and Conference Championship meet finalist during his final two seasons. He also swam for the Berkeley Aquatic Club, which won the Star Invitational Championship and broke team records in the relay events. He was also a Central Zone
Speedo Sectional Finalist with Berkeley. Aside from swimming, Dardis also ran cross country at Watchung Hills Regional, where he was the freshman county champion and Rookie of the Year.
Duffy swam four years at La Salle College High School in Pennsylvania, serving as team captain. He earned All-American, All-Catholic, and All-District honors during his high school career. Duffy also swam club for the Central Bucks Swim Team, serving as team captain. Academically, he earned First and Second Honors and served as a Student Ambassador at La Salle College High School.
A distance freestyler,
Frierson competed for the varsity swim team at South Forsyth High School in Georgia for four years. She earned team MVP honors in each of her final three seasons after winning the War Eagle Award as a freshman. She set team records in the 200 freestyle, 500 freestyle, and 100 butterfly events. Besides South Forsyth, Frierson swam club for the Chattahoochee Gold, where she was a 2013 Women's Senior State Champion and the 13 & 14 NAG 800 Freestyle record holder. Academically, she was an AP Scholar Award winner and graduated with Honors Distinction.
Guenther was a varsity swimmer and water polo player at Loyola Academy in Illinois. He competed in the backstroke, breaststroke, and individual medley events, setting the school record in the 100 breaststroke event. A 2017 team captain, he won the Tony Lawless Award and was a three-time multi-event Nationals qualifier. Academically, Guenther was a Loyola Scholar and a Clavius Math Honors Scholar.
Keh was a four-year varsity swimmer at Northern Valley Regional High School in New Jersey, where he helped the team to two undefeated seasons, four League Championships, two State Group Championships, and four State Sectional Championships. He was selected as team MVP and was a three-time All-County performer. Keh was also a club swimmer for the Wyckoff YMCA Sharks, where he was a seven-time YMCA National Qualifier. In the classroom, he was also a National Merit Scholar.
A distance freestyler,
Lehman was a varsity swimmer at Pope John XXIII High School in New Jersey, where he was a senior year team captain. He was awarded the Athletic Career Achievement Award and the Spirit of Pope John Award for swimming after an outstanding four-year run at Pope John XXIII. He received NJAC All-Conference accolades nine times over four seasons. A two-time team MVP and school record holder in 500 freestyle, he captured 11 event titles at the Tri-County & Sussex County Championships over his final three years, while being a four-year NJ State High School Meet of Champions Qualifier. In addition, Lehman was a four-time First Team All-NJ Herald selection and a four-year NJAC All-Academic pick. Aside from Pope John XXIII, he also swam club for Randolph YMCA. He has competed at the Long Course Sectionals (2015-16), the Long Course Senior States (2014-16), and the Short & Long Course Junior Olympics (2010-14). In the classroom, Lehman was the recipient of the 2017 Pope John XXIII High School Service Award and a member of the National and German Honor Societies. A four-year member of the Honor Roll, he garnered Academic Excellence Awards in Theology (three times), Mixed Chorus (once), and Mass Media Studies (once), and Academic Achievement Awards in Chemistry and Physics once each.
Magill was a distance freestyler for the varsity swim team at St. Mary Academy in Rhode Island, serving as team captain. She earned All-American honors from 2015-17 and All-State accolades from 2014-17. She also swam club for the Seacoast Swimming Association. In the classroom, Magill was a member of the National Honor Society and the National Italian Honor Society.
Martin competed in the freestyle, backstroke, and butterfly events over her four-year swimming career at Mark Keppel High School in California. She was a two-time team MVP as a sophomore and a senior, while receiving Rookie of the Year honors as a freshman. She was the 2015 CIF Southern California Division III champion in the 50 freestyle, while finishing fourth in the 100 butterfly. She followed that performance by making the 2016 finals in the 50 freestyle and 100 butterfly, and finishing second in the 50 freestyle and fifth in the 100 backstroke at the 2017 Championship. Besides the CIF SOCAL Championship, Martin was a three-time champion in the 50 freestyle, 100 backstroke, and 100 butterfly at the Almont League Championship in 2014, 2015, and 2017, which included setting league records for those three events, and was a First Team selection in those events by the
Pasadena Star News. She also was selected for the National Select Diversity Camp in May 2016, held at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado. For club, Martin competed for Beach Cities Swimming, where she has placed eighth in the 100 backstroke SCY at the 2017
Speedo Sectionals, while finishing in the top 14 in that same event in 2015.
McGee just finished up a four-year varsity swimming career at Plymouth Whitemarsh High School in Pennsylvania, where she was a senior captain and a two-time team MVP. She was a State qualifier in the 50 freestyle and earned First Team All-League honors in the 200 individual medley, 100 freestyle, and 100 butterfly, while taking Second Team All-League honors in the 50 freestyle. She also set a total of nine school records in the 200 IM, the 50, 100, 200, and 500 freestyle, the 100 butterfly, the 200 medley relay, and the 200 and 400 freestyle relays. McGee also swam club for Plymouth Whitemarsh Aquatic Club, while academically she was a member of the distinguished honor roll.
McGowan, a teammate of fellow recruit
Nathaniel Guenther, was a varsity swimmer and water polo player at Loyola Academy in Illinois. A senior year team captain, he was the 2016 Illinois State Sectional champion in the 500 freestyle event and a three-time State Qualifier in that event (2015-17). He was also a State qualifier in the 200 freestyle (2017), 400 freestyle relay (2016-17), and 200 freestyle relay (2017). McGowan also swam club for the New Trier Swim Club, where he was a NCSA Qualifier in the 200 and 500 freestyle events in 2017. Academically, he was an Illinois State Scholar and a four-year member of the Honor Roll.
McNary was a four-year varsity swimmer at Westbrook High School in Connecticut, where she helped the team to multiple Class S State Championships. Individually, she earned All-State honors and
New Haven Register All-Area honors four times each, while receiving All-Area MVP twice. She was also an Open Qualifier four times, an All-American Qualifier once, and a Shoreline Champion four consecutive years. McNary also swam club for the SoundView YMCA Stongrays, where she was a 2015 Buffalo Sectional Champion, a 2016 Junior National Qualifier, and a 2016 YMCA National Qualifier and Finalist. Academically, she was a member of the National Honor Society, serving as Secretary, while also being a student representative for the District Board of Education.
Ramsay was a two-year varsity swimmer at Norwell High School in Massachusetts, serving as team captain. He earned All-League honors and set seven school records in his time at Norwell. He also swam club for Kingfish, where he was a National Qualifier and a Sectional Champion.
Stern was a four-year varsity swimmer and water polo player at Deerfield High School in Illinois, where he was team captain of the swimming team. He earned All-Conference honors four times as a swimmer and twice for water polo. He also received NISCA All-American honors as a junior, while being an AISA All-State honoree as a senior. Stern also finished with four school records in the 100 backstroke, 200 medley relay, and the 200 and 400 freestyle relays. Academically, he was a part of the Deerfield, French, and National Honor Societies, while being an AP Scholar (2016) and Illinois State Scholar (2017).
Theodoulou was a four-year varsity swimmer at Trinity High School in New Hampshire, while also playing four years of varsity soccer. She served as team captain of both squads at Trinity, and was a three-time State Champion in the 100 butterfly event. She set a total of four school records, breaking the 50 freestyle and 100 butterfly records as a junior, while setting the 100 and 200 freestyle marks as a senior. Theodoulou also swam club for Phoenix Swimming, where she was a New England Seniors Championship finalist and a Futures qualifier. In the classroom, she was a member of the National Honor Society and the high honor roll.
Von der Lippe was a four-year varsity swimmer at Thompson Valley High School in Colorado. A 2016-17 team captain, she was the Golden Eagle recipient after receiving All-Conference and All-State honors for the fourth consecutive year. She also earned freshman, sophomore, and junior of the year honors for her team, while receiving the Most Outstanding Senior Award. Von der Lippe also swam club for Loveland Swim Club, serving as team captain in 2016-17 and receiving Most Improved honors four times (2012-15) and Most Outstanding honors once (2016). Academically at Thompson Valley, she was a member of the National, Spanish, and Art Honor Societies and received Academic All-State and Academic All-Conference accolades.
Wallace swam for eight years at Dulwich College Shanghai in China. He served as team captain from 2015-17, setting records in the 50 and 100 freestyle LCM. He also received the 2017 Athlete of the Year Award. Wallace also swam club for Clay Shaw Park Swimming, where he placed in the top 20 for the 50 freestyle in the
Speedo Region 8 Sectionals.
