Tomas Nieves was named the Atlantic 10 Men's Golf Rookie of the week it was announced by the league today. It is the first weekly honor for Nieves.
Nieves had a strong showing at the Coca-Cola Bottling Company of the Lehigh Valley Collegiate Invitational, held on April 2 and 3 at the Silver Creek Country Club in Hellertown, Penn. Competing as an individual, Nieves fired rounds of 76-77 for a two-day total of 153, placing him in a tie for 27th.
The Rams return to action on Saturday, April 15, as they compete in the Yale Invitational at the Course at Yale in New Haven, Conn.
