Orlando, Fla. –
Joseph Trim shot a two-over 74 today to help the Fordham golf team to a seventh place finish at the 2017 Atlantic 10 Championships at the Grand Cypress Golf Club.
Richmond won the team title with an impressive 24-under 840, followed by VCU (853), Dayton (854), George Washington (861), Davidson (870), Rhode Island (874), Fordham (878), La Salle (892), George Mason (893), St. Bonaventure (894) and Saint Joseph's (897).
Individually, Trim led the Rams from start to finish with a three day total of 217, tying him for 16
th, 11 strokes behind the leader, Jack Lang of Davidson.
Behind Trim was senior
Oscar Cabanas who carded a 77 today for a three-round total of 221, tying him for 23
rd.
James Mongey had the low round for the Rams today, firing a one-under 71 for a three-day total of 223, placing him in a tie for 33
rd.
Matt Schiller and
Tomas Nieves matched eached other for the third straight day, carding 74's in the final round for matching three-day totals of 224, tying them for 35
th place.
