Orlando, Fla. – The Fordham golf team sits in eighth place after two rounds of play at the 2017 Atlantic 10 Championships at the Grand Cypress Golf Club.
In the team competition Richmond leads all teams at 15-under with a two day score of 561, followed by VCU (569), George Washington (572), Dayton (573), La Salle (579), George Mason and Davidson (584), Fordham (585), Rhode Island (586), Saint Joseph's (588) and St. Bonaventure (605).
Leading the way for Fordham is junior
Joseph Trim who followed up his three under par 69 in round one with a 74 in round two for a two day total of 143, six strokes behind the leader.
Right behind Trim is
Oscar Cabanas who carded a 73 today for a two day total of 144, tying him for 15
th, while
Tomas Nieves and
Matt Schiller each shot 76 in round two to go with their 74's from round one for a two day total of 150, tying them for 39
th.
James Mongey shaved four strokes off his round one score for a 74 today, placing him in a tie for 45
th with a two day total of 152.
The championship concludes with 18 holes on Sunday.
