Bronx, N.Y. – The Fordham women's tennis team won a hard fought match with Quinnipiac 4-3 in the team's home finale at Hawthorn Rooney Courts on Thursday afternoon.
After dropping the doubles point, the Rams bounced back in singles play taking four of six matches as
Carina Ma defeated Jennifer Lu 6-2, 6-1 in first singles,
Estelle Wong cruised past Rachel Horton 6-0, 6-1 in second singles,
Maia Balce earned a hard earn point in third singles, edging Sydney Young 7-6 (1), 7-5 and
Gianna Insogna defeated Nicole Katzarkov 6-1, 6-1 in fifth singles.
The Rams wrap up the regular season on April 23 at Massachusetts at 1 p.m.
