The Rams got off to a good start yet again, taking the doubles point as
Carina Ma and
Estelle Wong defeated Sabrina Navarro Lopez and Taylor Gurda 6-2 in first doubles and
Mayu Sato and
Alexis Zobeideh defeated Olivia Podsiebierski and Adrianne Alfonso 6-3 in second doubles.
Fordham continued their stellar play in singles action as
Carina Ma defeated Brianne Lauria 6-0, 6-2 in first singles,
Estelle Wong rallied to defeat Taylor Gurda 6-1, 4-6, 6-3 in second singles, senior
Mayu Sato bested Claudia Ruiz 6-3, 6-3 in third singles,
Gianna Insogna cruised past Tori Oates 6-0, 6-1 in fourth singles, and
Alexis Zobeideh won her second singles match of the year defeating Nicole Vassalle 6-0, 6-3 in sixth singles.
The Rams return to action Friday April 7 as they travel to Philadelphia, Pa. to face conference foe Saint Joseph's.
